Sunset in the open air
Being on the west coast of Ibiza, there are plenty of outdoor locations from which to enjoy this special moment.
In the town itself we have Ses Variades, which can be accessed by the pedestrian promenade, making it very easy to get there, or the breakwater at the seawall.
If we are looking for something more natural, we have Cap Negret, Punta Galera, Cap Blanc or the location most frequented by visitors and locals: Puertas del Cielo (Sa Penya Esbarrada).
There are also boat excursion companies that offer sunset services from a boat, an interesting option for maximum relaxation.
Sunset with atmosphere
There are several places that offer a special service on what is known as the Sunset Strip (promenade overlooking the sunset).
The all-time favourites are Café del Mar and Café Mambo, located next to each other. While the former has a classic island chill-out atmosphere, the latter hosts the world's top DJs.
If you're looking for something more relaxed and with more affordable prices, at the end of the promenade you'll find the Golden Buddha, a favourite haunt of the locals.
On the other hand, if you want something more lively, the well-known owner of Space decided not to write off the brand and reopened as a new food and fun venue: Space Eat & Dance.
From the Base Hotel
